SEO Elite is a program used by many online marketers. It was created in 2004 by internet marketer, Brad Callen. The software program was originally created to monitor link partners status, as you could plug a link page URL directly into the software and SEO Elite would visit each of those link partners websites and would return a yes or no, telling you whether or not the website was continuing to link back to you.

As time went by, user feedback was consistently gathered to make SEO Elite more robust. The second major release of SEO Elite to Version 2.0 included many new, what Brad calls, project types. Essentially a project type is an entirely new program that has another function. Rather than creating an entirely new program to sell to his customer, Brad added these new project types directly to SEO Elite and gave this new version out to all current customers.

Some of the features that were included in Version 2.0 of SEO Elite included the ability to: Analyze backlinks in specific search engines, check where your website is ranked in a specific search engine, find out how many web pages are indexed, and the ability to easily find websites to link to and get links from.

At this time, an SEO Elite members forum was also added. As several months went by, new feature requests were collected, the SEO Elite members forum became extremely active, and the release of version 3.0 was complete and ready for the public. This version, to, was given for free to all current SEO Elite customers. The new version included many advanced search functions, as well as some significant speed enhancements and user friendly features.
